SACRAMENTO, Calif- Assemblymember Luis Alejo is trying to raise California's minimum wage by creating an annual cost of living adjustment.
"The annual cost of living adjustment is similar to other cost of living adjustments we already have in statute ? such as tax credits on farm and manufacturing equipment," states Alejo.?
AB 1439 will be heard in Assembly Labor Committee in the spring.
