The North Carolina Research Campus is getting a new addition: a 60,000-square-foot medical building to help further the organization?s cause.
Construction started just over a week ago, and already the building?s vacancy list is declining. The North Carolina Research Campus has been actively recruiting specialty and primary care medical practices, all of which? are tied to Carolinas Medical Center- Northeast in Concord. That means that nearby residents will have more comprehensive access to medical services through the hospital they already go to.
The building will also have offices for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Authority, which is the parent company of Carolinas Healthcare System, Charlotte?s #1 employer and award-winning provider of health services in the Charlotte area.
The new building promises to create opportunities for exciting advancements in the field of medicine and further the North Carolina research Campus? goal of being on the cutting edge of nutrition, agriculture and human health. For residents and others moving to the area, it means better access to health services and front row seats to some of the most important medical breakthroughs in the world. The Charlotte area is about to become an even bigger fixture on the U.S. healthcare map.
